A man has tragically passed away in hospital following a collision on the Shankill Road last month. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage of the incident to come forward to assist their investigation.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that a man has passed away in hospital following a collision on the Shankill Road on Saturday, March 28. The incident, which involved a car and a pedestrian, occurred at approximately 9:45 am.
Emergency services attended the scene alongside police officers, and the man was taken to hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of medical staff, he has since died from his injuries. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
The Police Service’s Collision Investigation Unit is now conducting further enquiries into the circumstances of the incident. Detective Inspector Stewart has asked for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who might have digital footage, such as dash-cam or CCTV, to reach out to help with the investigation.
